Termite/Wood-Destroying Organism Inspection
Uncover the Devastating Effects: Understanding and Addressing Potential Damage from Termites in Your Home
Termites cause more than $5 billion in property damage each year. Unfortunately termite damage or treatment is not covered under most home insurance. That is why many clients are required to have a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) report as part of their home inspection process as a requirement to obtain a mortgage. A Wood Destroying Insect Report is required for all VA and FHA loans. Although a WDI inspection looks for termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, powder post beetles and any other common wood-destroying insects, it is typically referred to as a termite inspection. We can perform the Wood Destroying Insect inspection or termite inspection for your home and will provide the HUD Document NPMA-33 required by your mortgage company.
